Brownies – quite possibly one of the best desserts out there. Add peanut butter to the mix, yes please!
My step mom always makes the best brownies, but they’re rarely waiting for me when I travel home (we may have to fix that). Since the Super Bowl was on the way – and – Alisa had already planned to make baked chicken strips and sausage cheese balls (soooo not healthy), I got to make the dessert. I stumbled upon this recipe and knew it would be a good idea. Not only was it low calorie and topped with peanut butter, but it was “technically” gluten free (so long as you buy gluten free oats).
These turned out great! It literally took me five minutes to prepare it: just POP, DROP, and LOCK IT (HHF folks…couldn’t resist…sorry). Pop the dry ingredients into the processor, drop in the wet ingredients, and lock the lid. Then into oven it went with the yummy peanut butter. Overall, this was a very rich recipe, but totally worth it!
