MA’AM!

A huge part of my success with weight loss this year has been trying Hip Hop Fitness. My friend Alisa and I were doing a cardio class (kickboxing-ish) and we got there early (I always run early) and ran into the instructor, Jacque, leaving from the first class. So – Alisa thought we should try it out…

I was absolutely nervous…I’d never really taken a “dance” class in my life and the last time I had done any time of dancing was my senior year of high school…in a musical…and I wasn’t really “good” then. But – after taking one class – I was hooked! Now I go about 3-4 times a week, not because I really need that much cardio, but because it’s actually a lot of fun.

So – while I may not be the best dancer and I may not have the moves like Jagger, at least I can have fun! By the way, you can thank Alisa for this horrible video, too…I figured I might as well post this before she tries to embarrass me on her blog first.
